Frog in Hand is more than a dance company—we are a homegrown Mississauga charity dedicated to creating, performing, and teaching dance-theatre as a powerful act of placemaking. For over a decade, we’ve transformed parks, libraries, streets, and community spaces into stages where boundaries dissolve and people connect across cultures, languages, and generations.
At Frog in Hand, we believe dance is not just something to do. It is a way of being. Our productions infuse movement with storytelling, centring underrepresented identities, propelling youth through dance, promoting well-being, and sparking joy.
Each year, our programs engage thousands of residents in Mississauga and beyond. This summer, we are launching our 2026 season, focused on Homecoming, with a series of performances, community events, and public programming running from May through September across Mississauga, GTA and Ontario.
In 2026, Frog In Hand will:

Welcome 900+ community members through our “Dancing in the Library” program alone

Engage 6500 residents annually through our summer dances, shows, workshops, gatherings, and public programs

Activate Mississauga and the Port Credit community through interactive, repeated, visible, and inclusive community experiences throughout the year
Partnering with Frog In Hand is a way to be meaningfully present in Mississauga and beyond, where people gather, linger & build lasting relationships through dance.

The Summer Company is Frog in Hand’s flagship program and one of the organization’s most impactful initiatives, where emerging dancers are hired full-time for nine weeks to train, create, and perform in a professional environment. Supporting the Summer Company directly invests in the next generation of artists as they develop their artistic voices & professional careers.
